Well if this did occur in 1983, Quarry would have been 38 years old -- not
old, but coming off a five-year layoff and many hard fights over almost a
20 year career (including many hard sparring sessions).

Did you catch the audio? Right after the punch you can hear someone say, "What are you trying to do, put me in the hospital?"
Funny, but it sounds like Jerry's voice.

Interesting footage. The left hook, body or head, is still the hardest punch to block in boxing.

When Rocky Marciano was asked how he would fight Liston,he said
a left hook to the body.
I wonder if Foreman was also suseptible to the left hook to the body
at least when he and Quarry had sparred,reportedly Quarry got the better of Foreman in that one sparring session around 1970.

I wish I could see that sparring session. Didn't Foreman say the only fighter he avoided at that time in his career was Jerry Quarry?
