I think it's good for fighters to be slightly delusional about their own ability, I've never liked seeing fighters conceding their limitations, but clearly Haye's in denial.

whatever you think of david haye he's still the best HW out there other than the klits....

hayes SOOOO bad that he's one of only 3 fighters who have managed to go the distance with wlad in the last 10 years.....and it IS fact that Wlad was pushing down on him thru-out the fight (as evidenced by the point deduction)...fought at distance off the jab...didnt really ever hurt him...and certainly never gave him a beating nor ever looked like he was about to spark him out.

Nobody disputes that he is certainly one of the best of the rest. What people are dreading is more constant trash talk and boasts from him when the last time he was clearly unwilling to go for it. Sure sell the fight, make millions and cruise to a points defeat, but don't try and pull the same trick twice.

He will have to go some to get half the people I know who got interested in boxing for one night only, to do the same again without a fight inbetween

I'll be astonished if he manages to pull in a similar amount of viewers for a fight with Vitali after making himself look ridiculous last time out after saying similar things and then going out the way he did.

i genuinely think he WILL go for it if he gets the shot against vitali...tho ironically the way he approached the wlad fight may be better suited to vitali...

Haye really is pathetic,he never engages in any of his fights.
people think he`s gonna blow away who ever he fights but he is really a back footed boxer.he`d just dance away from vitali and get stopped late on.
