i reckon it was due to nerves , in which case he would feel fine now but they would never have allowed him to box having fainted as if something went wrong there would be some very tough questions to answer .

As tough it is for him there was no other choice

Why should he get fights with matchroom? Obv has got the right mentality for boxing too busy being a z list celeb wrap it in

i spoke to jj yesterday he seemed well up for it, he must have been ill or something hes been boxing since he was a young kid he wouldnt have just swallowed it hes not that type of kid hes ballsy, im gutted for him i know this meant alot to him

because he'll get some mainstream attention as he was in in big brother and as curtis said he been boxing his whole life hes not gonna just wimp out

He was sat hooded in the audience looking distraught. Must be a hard to see your replacement win with probably the most comfortable route to the trophy. Feel for JJ Bird and hopes he gets a crack at another prizefighter.

He looked well sheepish/pale at first we he sat down.

I was chatting to his mam, aunt, brothers etc.. and they were well gutted as 14 or so of them had travelled up from Peterborough to see him.

Was gutted as had my money on jj and looking at the route and winner I don't see why he couldn't have won it. It was obviously a pretty genuine reason as he looked gutted.
