He's nowhere near ready at the moment but no one said he was but he's improving and looking fitter so why the negativity.grid 1 wrote:tyson fury isnt ready for klitschko and never will be.david price is the man to dominate the heavyweight division.FACT

i think he would give povetkin a tough night with about 6 months more training - he looked far better than he did against chisora, using the jab alot more and its a strong jab, he needs to sit down on his punches when he's looking for the power shots he always seems off balance when he throws the right and also tends to drop his hands when he misses.Final round wrote:He's nowhere near ready at the moment but no one said he was but he's improving and looking fitter so why the negativity.grid 1 wrote:tyson fury isnt ready for klitschko and never will be.david price is the man to dominate the heavyweight division.FACT

u know when people are talking shit when they end their sentences with FACTCas wrote:Needs to teak his defense before stepping in with the big boys. I was impressed by his jab, had plenty of snap.
I agree that Fury will never be ready for the Klitschko brothers though, those guys are a different breed, would KO Fury.
No but his nose pissed with blood from round one and he kept trying to get out of the way, it was good quality.funso banjo baby wrote:i wouldnt get too excited about the jab...Firthas head didnt move all night

Atlas? that guys ruined povetkin.keithmoonhangover wrote:If Fury spends the next year under Stewart, Roach or Atlas, then he would improve so much. Hughie has done a great job, but he needs to tighten the defence, improve his balance and concentrate.
Anyone who thinks Price walks straight through him needs to stop sniffing glue.
He's unbeaten, in the top ten and close to a shot at one of the Klitschkos.kingfinn wrote:Atlas? that guys ruined povetkin.keithmoonhangover wrote:If Fury spends the next year under Stewart, Roach or Atlas, then he would improve so much. One more left hand? Rubbish. We don't know what Fury will be like once he's been on the floor. He might be like Larry Holmes for all we know.freddydoesdallas wrote:He still has a long way to go. If Firtha had a left hand then Fury would've been sparked last night.
If Fury wants to go far in this he needs to improve his fitness (he looked spent last night as did Firtha), improve his jab and take on some good gatekeepers
yeah but if you watch his fights he's looked like crap, beating a shot chagaev doesnt prove anything. He used to look something special now he looks pedestrian.keithmoonhangover wrote:He's unbeaten, in the top ten and close to a shot at one of the Klitschkos.kingfinn wrote:Atlas? that guys ruined povetkin.keithmoonhangover wrote:If Fury spends the next year under Stewart, Roach or Atlas, then he would improve so much. Atlas pulled him out of the Klitschko fight because he wasn't in the right place emotionally.
I'm sure he only has a stump in there as he didn't want to throw a punch with it even when he had Fury hurt. All he was trying was a right hook.keithmoonhangover wrote:One more left hand? Rubbish. He looked spent? TOSH!
