So i saw earlier on facebook stated by Khan that they may have stolen the morales fight from under Tim Bradleys feet, in order to send him a message.

Khan needs this fight. Then he needs to step up to welterweight and possibly fight Bradley at 10 stone 7. Before even thinking about Mayweather

Easy win for Khan or Bradley.

well if id does happen it will likely be for the WBC title as long as morales wins it against cona in his next fight.

Khan wants to unify though, so can't blame him for wanting Morales

Khan is all wrong for Morales at this point, and i think Erik will know that....So unless HBO throws massive money at the both of them i really don't see this happening.

Erik will look great against a slowish come forward boxer/brawler/slugger however you want to call it.. anybody with a bit of movement and handspeed will destroy him over 12 rounds now.

Khan would score a 10-2 type of decision, Bradley maybe a bit closer 8-4 type of region, anyone else in the division morales will run a bit closer.

Obviously HBO will pay massively for this one! Its a big fight with two big names. #Huge money in this for Morales, far than for a Bradley bout and he'll take it no problem. The fight makes perfect sense.

I really dont see any other route to the big fights for Bradley other than through Khan.

Khan would be far too much for Morales. He was getting outboxed by Cano until he started standing still and letting Morales get to him. That played into Morales hands and Cano started slowing down and taking a beating.

Khan wouldn't slow down, and wouldn't stand there long enough to get hit as much as Cano. I would heavily favour Khan to win any fight with Morlaes by stoppage.

If the Bradley fight can't be made at 140lb then Khan needs to head for 147lb.

Even if Khan just wanted this fight to unify the titles, surely even he can see that the WBC belt isn't worth its weight in sh!te. It was practically handed to Morales, gift-wrapped with a little bow & a card that says "dear fellow Mexican & big money-maker/sanctioning-fee payer, have this. Love J Sulaiman".

A victory over this version of Morales would do nothing for Khan's career IMO. Especially when he lost to man Khan's already beaten. If this fight happens it's another case of promoters/fighters taking the p!ss out of the fans.

Khan has to beat Bradley before he becomes the undisputed champion.

Khan has wanted Bradley for a while - unify, then move up, fight Bradley at WW.

Why does he need it? This is simply wrong. Khan has been shouting from the rooftops he wants Mayweather! Khan should concentrate on not being a brash dickhead and move up after Peterson if that even happens. Then maybe Brook, Ortiz or Berto who will all give him plenty to think about.

i doubt brook would give him much to think about. he'd be a decent fight as one of khan's first at 147

thats why i didnt write "officially" - but we both know the WBC, IBF and WBA titles were the belts needed to make you "undisputed" before and most people including the media refer to you as the Undisputed champion, once those belts are held (or any 3 of the major titles eg David Haye) and some sanctioning bodies still officially honour you as the undisputed champion with just those 3 belts.- especially since its near on impossible to hold the all 4 major titles at one time now.

Juan Diaz had three alphabets at one point but don't recall him ever being considered the man in the division.

Realistically for Khan to be undisputed he's got to beat Bradley, though if the fight doesn't happen it'll be Bradley who will be the one who's reputation suffers as a result.

I 100% agree but from a promotional view having morales's WBC title as well as the WBA super and IBF titles mean big bucks for khan. He will be referd to as the undisputed champion.

I mean lets face it the only guy to be officially undisputed in recent years is hopkins, well Taylor to but you cant really count that as hopkins put all the belts in one place for him.

Who was the man when Juan Diaz beat Julio and Freitas? For me he was the man in the devision and so was Nate Campbell when he beat him. Manny was at Super Feather at this stage - Floyd a lot heavier.

Casemayor was regarded by most as the #1, cos he beat Corrales who beat Castillo/Freitas etc.

It is of course a matter of opinion but I don't think holding the 3 main belts makes you the undisputed champion. It's a matter of beating the best in your division. It's the opponents, not the titles, that matter.

In Khan's case, he and Bradley have held all of the main belts between them at some point in their careers, and not lost them in the ring. It's widely accepted that, because all the other main contenders at 140 have been beaten by one of them, they are the top 2. Therefore, in my eyes, if they fought at 140lbs the winner would be the undisputed champion, even though the 3 (or 4, if you count WBO) belts would not all be on the line.
