According to Boxing Central, Lovemore "The Black Panther" N'Dou will step up to fight Sharmba Mitchell on February 7 in Moscow to replace the injured Kostya Tszyu.
N'Dou, 36-5-1 (22), a South African based in Australia, is on a good winning run, though was taken the full 12 rounds by Fred Kinuthia recently - a man destroyed in two by Junior Witter over here.

Oh how I tried to tell that Aussie idiot "Ben" back on Eastside that N'Dou was nothing to get excited about and certainly no threat to Hatton, but he was having none of it.

Then came the Kinuthia fight.

I've never been a big fan of Mitchell but you have to give the guy credit for taking some good fights lately.
He's not exactly sitting on his number one rating is he?
Shame the Tszyu fight fell through, as these two will probably be fighting in front of an empty house in Russia.

Mitchell would do well to stop N'dou, not a bad fight considering the short notice. I expect Mitchell to win on points.

I cannot believe they are keeping it in Russia?!

I know. Travelling from Australia to Moscow at this time of the year is going to be a nasty shock weather-wise for N'Dou.

I think I read in this months ring mag that Mitchell would be going out there 3 weeks in advance to adjust to the weather and mix with the locals and get some good press. Gary Shaw had done his homeowork.

The fight must need to go ahead after putting in so much work.....Shaw was having to ensure safety procedures etc for the fight that was supposed to take place.

I was expecting it to land on the Toney-McCline bill but thats probably a bit soon for N'dou

It's not in Russia, it's the co-feature to Toney-McCline in Las Vegas.

Excellent prospect, and Mitchell will be all the sharper for it too, I am leaning toward him beating Tszyu when they finally beat....

That little pygmie bloke who Witter look embarrassed to up against took N'Dou the full 12 round course? I never knew that...

That's a shocking performance, the guy was inept and you won't often catch me saying that about a pro boxer.

Yes, at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. I assumed it was Russia because of the February 7 date (the date of the original Moscow show). Assumption is a dangerous thing.
