That's when the fighting legend Bernard Hopkins was born, I still can't get my head around how good he is for his age, he must be an inspiration to millions of people around the world. His been in prison, lost his first pro fight and just keeps on getting better, I really would not be supprised if his still world champion at 50 ! Has he made any of you guys think twice about making a come back or starting a boxing career in your 30's ? He certainly makes me at 33 years of age feel younger.

Hopkins should hang them up, but he makes millions and never gets hurt so why not?

still competing at top level.

but he's earnt plenty and his fights follow the same sorta pattern these days.

Hopkins and Froch are my two favourite modern day fighters. Hopkins is a role model to all aspiring champions in terms of the way he adopts an almost monastic approach to his craft and his mental strength is remarkable. A genuine great in an era full of paper 'champions'.

Alot has to do with his genes etc but obviously never drinking, drugs, always in the gym, early nights etc extreme dedication
