The only reason Pac is fighting JMM is because of the history between the two, and the fact there's still demand from many fans to see the fight, including me. I think that Marquez's style can still cause Pacquiao problems, whereas Floyd's style coupled with his significant reach advantage negated him.

It's kinda lame though from Mayweather if he's swerving the fight because of Bob Arum. Any money that Arum gets will be from Pacquiao's earnings anyway. Could hardly imagine Pacquiao coming out and saying ''Floyd, you should fire Ellerbe''

If PFB had made contracted weight to fight the Lightweight JMM I'd have respected the result.

usually in these black hat/white hat things I find it helpful to think how would it look if the roles were reversed, if Pac and Freddie Roach were ensuring all their opponents were drug tested and they made the same demand of Floyd, but Floyd refused drug testing, would people be saying Pac is ducking Mayweather? Doubt it. Would people be pointing the finger at Floyd and assuming he's guilty of doping? Probably.

Similar with Ortiz. If Mayweather had been getting handily outboxed, then resorted to butting Ortiz, and Ortiz responded by knocking him out when the fight resumed... would people be calling Ortiz a cheat and saying FLoyd has been hard done by? Doubt it.

I dont read anything by Kevin A-hole since I saw him group-hugging and licking Panama Lewis balls on that "Assault in the Ring" documentary. It was grotesque.
