Saw him beat Alex Moon at Wythenshawe (i think) years ago. Good fighter.

He lost his first 4 fights, 3 of those he was DQ'd in. Shows he learnt the hard way.

Looking at his record and i forgot that Colin Dunne and Barry Jones beat him over here. Dunne beat him by a shut out decision, even though that was at lightweight its a very good win for Dunne.

Yep I remember him quality little fighter. Bowlers is now back on the scene as well, Steve Wood has done a deal with them to do shows again. Great venue.

I remember that one - he was a right tough nut. This fight was shown on terrestrial tv (in the good old days, when the word terrestrial meant as in the film ET).

He beat Dean pithie at our Coventry skydome if I remember correctly.

I remember reading that he used the weight & kudos of the EBU title to get a job as a PE teacher in his hometown. He had been turned down for the job previously but upon winning and defending the title a few times, the school wanted him!!
