Leif Larsen wouldnt be allowed fight anywhere with a half decent sanctioning organisation.

Fury's next fight is in Belfast on November 12th. I'd again have Rogie as the favourite to be in the opposite corner.

Fury beats Towers with ease. Towers is a good, fit and fast boxer, but Fury is different class.

Richie has sparred Fury on a few occassions, a couple of which i have seen. He certainly gave an excellent account of himself and there is no doubt that Richie would give Tyson a run for his money.

Funnily enough, Richie has also sparred Chisora and was called up to Scotland for Chisora's training camp for Klitshcko fight. I didn't see any of these spars but someone who did witness them said Richie was far from out of his depth.

I can't see Rich being thrown in with guys of this experience just yet because he's only had a few pro fight and almost zero amateur experience. He does have exceptional natural gifts though, an excellent training team plus (perhaps most importantly) an extraordinary thirst for success combined with a humble attitude that enables him to take advice on board quickly.

This is a big season for him and by the end of it i expect he will be close to a shot at the British title. He's no spring chicken so he can't wait forever.

Fury any day of the week for me. Further down the line when Towers gets more experience maybe a bit different, but for now at least Fury.

Bit too early for Richard at the moment. Needs a couple of decent stepping stone tests. Not saying he couldn't beat him but now wouldn't be his best chance.

Richard has a good team behind him.
They all know that time isn't on his side - but there is no questioning his desire, and each day passes with Richard working hard on his skills and ring craft.
There will come a time when simply Richard will have to dive in at the deep end.
Maybe by then Fury has moved off the domestic scene and I would then give Richard a good chance against the best of the rest domestically.
Equally I think Fury has other options that have far less of a risk factor than Richard Towers.

Totally agree, Towers has not had the same amount of quality aponents as Fury yet. He needs to be stepped up before they talk of a title shot.

Price still has to go through McDermott yet before he can talk about Fury, we all know big John can pull off big wins so it is not a sure thing yet.

I'd go for Fury v Rogan in November and then the winner of Price v McDermott before stepping up and maybe go for the Euro belt.

I reckon Towers beats Rogan easily. He's past his best, he shouldn't be fighting fury

I'd match Towers against Sprott in an 8 rounder and expect him to come out on top.

Why when they've a poor heavyweight scene. Send him to Germany/Europe instead, Tyson did it a few year back and it brought him on.

Talking of sparring, i hear he had a good spar with Anthony Joshua at the EIS recently. Dom tells Joshua looks a promising kid.
