Question for anyone who lives in Dublin Ireland area

We were visiting Dublin last week, saw a small bar, maybe on Fitzgibbon, west of N. Circular Rd. I didn't get the name of the bar and I'm not even sure it was on Fitzgibbon. We had walked on O'Connell away from the river, turned right and walked that way to near the bridge. Coming back we saw a bar with a boxing poster in the window. The boxer on the poster was Anthony Fitzgerald. Inside the bar was a lot of boxing memorabilia, gloves, etc.
Some of the people in the bar talked to us, one guy, about 5-6, 60ish, said that he was a boxing trainer in Dublin for 30 years and that he took a team to Boston a few years back. Any idea who he is? Any idea what the name of the bar is? Has anyone seen Fitzgerald fight? Thanks for any info. Like all of Dublin, the people at the bar were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, I just didn't get any names. Thanks.

Fitzgerald is a decent enough boxer, bit of a brawler. He was lucky to get the stoppage win over Belghecam thanks to a very prematue ref stoppage in his last fight although he was out boxing him. Himself and Robbie Long produced a fantastic domestic trilogy a few years back. Good few of his fights on Youtube.
I wouldn't have a clue about the pub or trainer you met, not a Dub myself - thank God!

Any idea what year he brought the team to Boston?

Deno, I'm not sure what year the guy took a team to Boston, it seems that it might have been around 2005. Most of the guys at the pub had been drinking and were talking a lot. This pub was not a "tourist" type place, it was well off of O'Connell. One of the guys mentioned that Fitzgerald owned the pub or was related to someone who owned it.

Rocky, do you know the name of the place? Is it on Fitzgibbon like I thought? I see that Gerry "Monk" Hutch has a limo company. They were going to call a guy with cabs/limos to take us to Savior's boxing club. The guy who said he trained boxers for 30 years was probably 60 or more, about 5'6", 155 lbs., stout looking, any idea who that guy might be? Thanks.

I didn't see the guy in that video. He didn't say that he was still training boxers, but he did mention that he took an Irish team to Boston a few years ago. This pub has boxing gloves hanging on the walls inside and it has a boxing poster in the front window. We were walking away from the spire on O'Connell and away from the river, and took a right. I don't know the name of the street, but the pub was on the right, probably about 800 M off of O'Connell.

moorser, I looked up Conway's online. The place we were in wasn't like that. It was small, probably 15 feet wide in the bar area, a bar on one side, a counter, stools at the bar, a few tables, and a pool room in the back. On the wall across from the bar were cases with boxing gloves. Fitzgerald's poster was on the front window.
We were staying near the spire, on Findlater Place, when we came out to O'Connell, the spire and the river were to the left, we went to the right a few blocks (does O'Connell become N.Frederick?), then turned right, maybe on Dorsett St. or one of the others that go that way toward N.Circular Rd. I should have paid more attention to street names. We intended to go back the next day and go to Savior's gym, but got sidetracked.
