Poor fight, come on Rogie take on Fury! It's the only fight with meaning worth any dough.

Their first fight was a belter but they were 2 different fighters they both seemed indestructible in that fight and Skelton sure aint no B-hop.

Skelton dsnt seem to have anything left.

Rogan should win...but id like another Skelton comeback !

It looks like Rogie is trying to re-capture the moments that came from his greatest night thus far. The Rogan defeat was the beginning of the end for Skelton and he has nothing left to offer so Martin should win this comfortably, if he himself has anything left.

People are giving Rogan far too much credit. He's just as shot as Skelton. Both men should give the game up.

And people who are asking for Fury v Rogan must be crazy. No way does Rogan deserve that shot

It is two top 10 ranked British/Irish heavyweights fighting each other. The winner will be an acceptable British/Commonwealth title challenger for Fury, the loser will hopefully not be in a position to get a British/Commonwealth title shot unless they get a credible comeback win.

Thats how I see it as well. I was very critical of Rogie's original bout for the WBU, both of the title and the opponent, but this is a lot better.

Both are big, inactive, well known local based Heavys that people know the past of and is a decent gauge of were both relatively old men are at.

Fairly even match but if Rogie still has a spark then there should be the same outcome as last time.

I'd agree it's a good match for Skelton, he's been out of the picture, has already lost to Rogan, and his options seem limited. Rogan was recently offered Fury. He's beaten a fresher Skelton before so it won't advance his purse for a potential Fury fight. I just don't see the benefit here for Rogan. If anything, it's a step backwards. Yes it's better than a WBU, but that shouldn't really be a benchmark for matchmaking.

The thing is is that Rogie has been fairly inactive himself.

Since losing the rematch to Sam Sexton in Nov 2009, he's had two 6 round fights against guys with losing records. Now, 2 years on and aged 40, he's going back to fight Skelton. I just think that there would be better paths given Rogan's age. To be honest, it's probably more of a dig at his last 2 years rather than specifically this fight (which is clearly better than the last two). I think back to Mitchell coming back 14 months after the Katsidis fight and beating Murray and yet Rogan turned down a home fight against Fury. We have guys here going across the world to fight fights that no one here thinks they have a chance in, but they are hungry, they want it and will do what they have to do for a chance.

I actually like Rogan and very much bought into the Cinderella story, but I just find some of the more recent actions odd.

I am in full agreement with you there. We had a blazing stand up row with each other over an article I didnt about the original match because of the hyperbole in this press release.

Rogan really is his own man and if tell him to open a door to get through to another room then he would rather eat through the brick wall than follow your instructions.

rogan does seem a bit thick alright but i think he is smart enough to know his limitations. that is why we see him trying for WBU titles and fighting the likes of 44 year old skelton

Yep I remember reading it and thinking fair play to you for taking that line, a true picture of event's. He's very single-minded by the sound's of it, it's a shame it's ruining the twilight of his career though. I wonder what sort of figure he'll pocket from fighting Skelton.

How much will Rogan be getting paid for this?

I won quite a bit of money the last time Rogan beat Skelton. He'll beat him again and hopefully win me some more money .

Good fight for Rogan,he hasn't fought for a while and this is a good re-start!!!!
