Acccording to an established boxing insider, English super-middleweight champion Carl Froch is off next week's bill at Dagenham. If this is true, it means he will be facing Tony Dodson next for the British title with all of 10 pro fights behind him.

it's only the british title bennie. froch is way too talented for dodson. how many more fights does he need? we've seen fighters challenge for world titles with 10 fights.

froch wins fairly comfortably within 7.

I think Southpaw, like me, gives Dodson a good chance in their upcoming fight. Froch is getting worse as he - supposedly - develops as a pro.

I am starting to view this fight more as 50/50 rather than towards Froch like i did previously. I think Froch holds his left too low and can be hit pretty easily but he is quick handed and slick in attack. Depends if Dodson can take him into the trenches, i think Dodson may cut in this fight though which could make things interesting.

Froch has talent but carries his left to low and is way to easy to hit he will do well at European level i should imagine.

That's as far his management have got with the much more talented Howard Eastman, so, yes, it's the most we can expect for Froch.

He could be better, but I don't believe the people who he is with are or can actually teach him anything good.

What does Robert McCracken know about being elusive?
