Cleverley will win either by stopage around the 6th if Bellew boxes on the front foot or something like 117-109(including 2 KD's) if Tony boxes on the backfoot.

Cleverly takes Bellew out in 8 rounds. It will be toe to toe IMO. Bellew is under the illusion that Cleverly will not or cannot stand and trade with him, he will and will win in style. Good luck to both men

Head says Cleverly - he's the more naturally talented fighter and in great shape - would win this 95 times out of 100. Gut instict says this is one of the 5 and he walks on to something.

The fact that a Bellew KO would go a sizeable chunk to paying off my mortgage influences me not one bit!

clev just gets hit too much for bellew imo

i think tony will come a cropper if cleverly has a better chin than i think he does. bellew will simply get worked over in that case. fortunately for him, cleverly is not a smart fighter and will leave his chin hanging in the air to be pummelled

Bellow for me his is heavy handed and clev leaves himself open to much Its going to be one hell of a fight

For me Bellew's power is overrated. Cleverly took some big, strong shots against Murat and walked through them well.

Cleverly by late stoppage or decision.

my heart says bellew with a great KO but my head says he is not in the same league as cleverly - who is far from world class by the way and would get murdered by the likes of hopkins , pascal or dawson

bellew cannot outbox cleverly and so he'll have to just go for it and hope he lands a lottery punch which is what this is for him

depends how many chances bellew takes.

if he fights like he did last time out it might go the distance.

if he's a bit bolder clev wears him down in about 8 or 9 rds.

Would love nothing more than Bellew by KO, Cleverly is overrated.

If it goes off early it's anyones game.
After that I like Nathan.
Bellew might give it the large but give out to the pro.

Cleverly for me, although I have to say I am not convinced Nathan can take Tony's power if he connects cleanly.

Bellew must not try to outbox Cleverly because as someone said above, he will get outboxed and probably stopped, if he goes to war he has
the chance of landing and that might just be enough.

This is a classic example of fight hype overriding facts.

Cleverly has beaten a number of opponents that are of a higher calibre than Tony Bellew is currently.

Kuziemski, Mohammedi, Brancalion, Murat and McIntosh are all proven opponents that are a level above Bomber. Tony has the potential to be better than all of them, without question, but his best wins are a couple of victories over a limited Ovill McKenzie, including one where he was in deep trouble and the second being a safety first comfortable points decision. I've seen nothing in Bellews career to date to suggest he has a chance.

So many people criticised the Haye v Audley fight as they'd been persuaded that Harrison had a chance by all the talk beforehand only to be let down when the fight went exactly as it was expected to by anyone who'd ignored the hype and used the evidence of the previous fights. This is the same. Is everyone going to turn on Tony for coming up short and not knocking Nathan out?

This fight does not seem to be getting a big build up. Cleverly should win based on the fighters he has faced. Bellew best trying to go for Cleverly early.

I think Cleverly holds most of the aces but the fact that he hangs his chin out to dry at least makes this interesting. I still believe in Bellew's power even if a lot of people seem to be looking past it now. Tony needs to go out there to make a statement but I think to do that he'll ship a lot more than he lands. I make a late Cleverly stoppage the most likely but anything other than a Bellew points victory wouldn't surprise me.

Good fight, World title worthy? Of course not, but good fight never the less. Bellew may not be a worthy challenger but then Cleverly is not a worthy champion (yet )

I think Tony wins it with late ko/tko.

Excellent match-up in my opinion.
Both these boys come to fight and always make it fun to watch.

One thing about this fight that has surprised me though, is that Bellew actually is managing to entertain me with his trash talking.
Usually I don't waste my time with listening to such nonsense, but this guy just sounds so brutal with the things he says, I find myself entertained by it.
