HAHAHA!!!!

world title shot for the winner. Brilliant, Frank. Surprisingly, fails to specify exactly how he could possibly get a title shot for williams or sprott.

sprott/sanders 2 anyone?

Yes, and in the same article.....

'Also on the Wembley card is light-middleweight Takaloo's first fight since securing his British passport.

The Iranian-born 28-year-old, who is targeting a 2004 showdown with American Oscar de la Hoya, takes on Eugenio Monteiro and is in confident mood.'

Oh yes, I'm sure Takaloo is first and foremost on De la Hoya's mind...

Whoever wrote this article needs to lessen their usage of the crackpipe.

The BBC's on-line coverage of boxing is APPALLING they might as well just publish the promoters press releases as is, because that's about all they do.

There is no depth to the articles, and they seem to be written by people who have no interest in the sport.

What is the point of that fornicating useless and totally uninformative article about the reporter sparring with Takaloo? He offers no insights at all, aside from the fact that he can hardly hit Takaloo, and that he gets knackered. No fornicating shit sherlock, you mean you struggled to hit a professional fighter, and you actually got tired from the effort? Wow!

Who is the current WBU heavyweight champion?

The last one to win the WBU heavyweight title is Georgi Kandelaki (december 2002)

Thank you. I suspect that the winner of Williams - Sprott will be challenging for the WBU heavyweight championship of the world sometime later in the year.

Thats exactly what I thought when I saw 'competing for a version of the World title' basically meaning some Mickey Mouse one, or a vacant one where Otis Tisdale is the no1 contender.

Or there's always the WBF, IBO, IBC.....etc.... good old Frank just keeps the world titles rolling in... soon they'll be a world champion in every town...

i just wish takaloo would mention a few of the names closer to home instead of all time greats like de la hoya who wouldn't be seen dead in the ring with the likes of takaloo.

and as for franky getting the winner a shot at a world title  maybe the pie eating world title because these 2 r nothing more than domestic sloggers.
