In any event, this is ridiculous.

Its interesting to see other opinions.

Liston was before, but crossed over. Then in Ali's era I'd say Frazier was the next best and Norton, Patterson etc after him. Foreman and Holmes came later, but crossed over.

The only reason to not have him in would be that he wasn't recognised as number 1 for a prolonged period of time. That isn't a good enough reason when considering the mans career

always thought frazier was a little overrated. Didnt have a long peak, and was a little flattered by the factali wasn't a big puncher. Didnt face a lot of big hitters in his career, and the one really big puncher he faced in foreman, absolutely flattened him twice. Had he faced Lyle and Shavers his resume may well have been a lot less impressive.

Joe Frazier makes the list of 5 unworthy HOF members, but McGuigan doesn't?

he is a great no doubt, but i wouldn't him top 5, his peak was too brief, as was his tenure at the top.

Somewhere between 6 and 10 seems right to me, I have him 7th.
