Friday Night Boxing

Irish super-featherweight champion Mickey Coveney is boxing in London on Friday. It'll be a good chance to see him in action before going into next month's Prizefighter (including Choi).

The show is a black tie event, but you can watch the fight on this stream -

Fighters like Mickey Coveney & John Simpson don't seem to get the credit they deserve in British boxing. They do nothing but favours for the sport during a really testing time, have never short changed the fans & don't duck anyone. Time for promoters to take some of the money going the way of Haye etc and send it to those keeping the game alive.

I have watched Coveney live a couple of times. Always puts up a fight and is not there to make up the numbers.
