Corrupt ref on Eurosport

Did anyone see the Salif v Petkovic fight on Eurosport on Friday? Petrovic complained every time he was hit to the body. I think the ref deducted 3 points before eventually disqualifying Salif. The thing was that not one of the shots looked low and Petkovic was on the floor 4 times, including from one cracking right to the chin. If you think some of our refs are biased you should have seen this one.

That is absolutely shocking. If i was Salif i would not have came out for the round after the first couple of point deductions. The fix was on

Absolutely shocking. No surprise to see Mr. Oner ringside.

Horrific refereeing, probably the worst I've seen. I do wish Salif would've just stopped going to the body when it became clear what the ref was planning, but maybe he just thought 'fornicate it'.

I happened to catch this fight live and simply couldn't believe what I was seeing. Absolutely disgraceful, incredible.
For those who criticise British refs, this offers a bit of perspective.
Richie Woodhall was fantastic on the commentary by the way. Another match on the bill was suspect too - an 'opponent' fell over from nothing and simply wouldn't get up.

Danny was belting him and Ahmed Boner called for bell to be rung despite over a min left of the round.

I would love to see Salif over in the UK! Why doesn't someone bring him over?

Really? Did you not see when he knocked the guy over twice in the 4th, he did nothing, no killer instinct - looked like he couldn't careless and was just there for the payday. Infact he looked like he was on the payroll.

Here's the referee's box rec page with his referee and judging records. He's been involved in some fairly high profile international fights over the years. BBBofC should stop this guy from working any fights over here again in my opinion. Vast majority of his judging/refereeing has been in Germany, but he also judged a recent Cleverly fight, and a McCloskey fight a couple of years ago (both in UK) with a glance at his history.

This is nothing New. Salif should have just walked out of the ring in protest as soon was the ref waved it off. There are no words to describe the refereeing
