Ok first off this is not a Pacman bashing. I'm a fan of the little fella but I do have one question. I have a t-shirt that points to Manny being an 8 weight world champion which is no mean feat but I can't seem to find a record of him winning a title at Featherweight only title fight was against Marquez which was a draw. Did he get a title after the IBF eliminator against Fahsan Battery which he didn't defend? I've listed the fights etc below.

WBC Flyweight - Chatchai Sasakul
IBF Super Bantamweight - Lehlohonolo Ledwaba
WBA IBF Featherweight - Juan Manuel Marquez (Draw so no world title)
WBC Super Featherweight - Juan Manuel Marquez
WBC Lightweight - David Diaz
IBO Light Welterweight - Ricky Hatton
WBO Welterweight - Miguel Cotto
WBC Light Middle - Antonio "concrete hands" Margarito

Cheers guys

He defeated Barrera to win the Ring Magazine title at featherweight. I'm guessing those shirts counted it as a world title.

Pacquiao has won 'legitimate' titles at 6 weights (those being one of the big 4 WBC/WBA/WBO/IBF) included in that are the WBO welterweight title he won at a catch weight of 145 pounds and the WBC light middleweight title he won at a catch weight of 150 pounds.

They might be counting the linear title, which he'd have won from barrera, who took it from the prince.

certainly deserves to have been called a champion at featherweight.

barrera was top dog at the time.
