Benitez, Duran, Hears, and Hagler.

As easy as it is to get into the Hall of Fame these days I wouldnt be surprised to see Lalonde and Kalule in at some point.

It isn't that easy, though Kalule was a good fighter. Better than Gatti or Chico.

Have you seen some of the people in the Hall? Its pretty damn easy. Especially if you are still alive and they can make $$ by getting you to appear and sign their memorabilia. The HOF is a racket run by the Brophy family.

But yeah, I agree, Kalule was a good fighter, I just dont know that he was HOF worthy. Definately borderline at best. Lalonde shouldnt be in there at all. But neither should several others that already are.

The undeserving ones are usually wildly popular fighters. That isn't the case here. Neither of them are even on the ballot.

Beating four HOF's is a hell of an achievement.

Duran beat 4 HOF'ers. Buchanan, Palomino, Leonard and Cuevas.

Duran & Benitez are obvious. I think Cuevas may be in, if not he and Hill are potential candidates.

Yes, dominantly.

He's talking about their drawn second fight, that pretty much everyone scored for Hearns, who knocked Leonard down twice.

Hearns also beat Wilfred Benitez, so that makes 2 and arguably 3 HOF wins for the Hitman.

Benitez/Duran and Cuevas are definite. Even going by results, hearns won about 17 of 26 rounds against Leonard, so he proved they were pretty much a stalemate. Hill might get in one day too.

Without Hearns' excessive holding in the 12th round of the second fight, Leonard would have had a decent chance at a stoppage win.

As would have Duran in the second round of the first fight with Ray.

Holding is a strange one. Almost no fighters ever seem to get reprimanded for it.

Hearns landed about fifteen unanswered shots to open that round. Without Hearns tremendous heart he would have been stopped.
