Saturday night tactics

Great fights at the weekend. Cleverly, Bellew and Degale all put in entertaining performances.
Tony will come again.
Nathan and James are obviously big prospects but one thing worried me when watching them. They both have skills and dimensions to box but both elected to trade close in. The issue is that neither man seems to have the kind of power that warrants such a strategy. I’m not criticising them as punchers. They can both crack BUT surely their best chances are in perfecting a tighter defence and boxing their way into the top echelons of the sport.
