Theres been what seems like a million false starts but it looks like its finally here. Just hope he isnt too rusty!

What odds a bus runs over his pinkie toe on the way to Bethnal Green tomorrow and he cant fight!

Late change of opponent and will now fight Michael Frontin.

A good opponent for him there too, much better than his record suggests. Gave Jamie Cox a right test a few years back, looked skillful. Look at some of the lads he fought early on...

What happened the original opponent, Bogere?

Hopefully Dean comes through this fight and builds on it. He has one hell of a stop-start career to date. With a bit of luck he can get on another card before Christmas.

He seemed very sure of himself after the fight and thought he looked impessive, I didn't but like he said he'd had a long lay-off.

Can't say i was impressed. Looked easy to hit. The term 'padded record' springs to mind.

It wasnt his best performance alright and hopefully that one can be put down to ring-rust, the jury is out at the moment, however, I dont think you can say that Dean has a padded record.

He handed Chris McCullen the only defeat on his career in only Dean's fifth fight and his win over Jose Reynoso is pretty good as well. Reynoso's only loss in the last six years.

Ok, I haven't seen McCullen and Reynoso so hard to judge how good these victories were. Perhaps their records flattered them, too, but I take your point Slap that perhaps Byrne has far more to offer than he displayed last week. He certainly has an entertaining style so I think he'll be involved in some good scraps.

Deans a nice lad and got a good record but he wants to be really glad patrick bogeres british licence didnt get sorted in time because he would of been handed his first defeat no doubt in my mind. Just hope this fight can get re arranged.
