Fightnews are reporting the Jason Cook vs Kevin Bennett will headline a cracking bill of boxing on February the 28th at the Bridgend recreation centre. Chief support is Dazzo Williams' 1st defence of his British featherweight title against former champ Jamie McKeever.

Fightnews are reporting that Cook's IBO title will be at stake, but doesn't indicate if Bennett's Commonwealth crown is on the line.

Excellent fight this, I think Cook will be just to strong, I can only remember to vividly how Bennett ended his title winning effort, this certainly raised some questions about weight making and/or stamina problems. Of course, Cook has had similar problems himself, in his fight with Zoff in which he ended up fighting with one leg (due to cramp). I believe it was more due to careless on Cooks behalf, he's not shown any stamina problems since.

Dean,

Fighting on the undercard? - If not, have you got a ringside seat.

I was there for the Zoff and Olviera bills and will try to make it there for this fight. Bennett's corner literally disowned him for the last 2 rounds in his fight for Commonwealth crown.

Also, good to see Dazzo in action, he is a very active boxer and glad he has won a Major Belt, toguh fight against McKeever though, hope he pulls through...

Incidentally, Dean, I've done a little story on your dubious Boxing News British ranking for this Friday's paper. Hope you don't mind.
