My apologies Mr. Detroit, you are right. I didn't mean to short change you... WOuld you believe that I have Frazier wrote down as: (2 WBU + 1 IBF)... And I've skimmed over it...

My apologies once again & I'll modify the record.

Fancy putting title fight records on? Gives more depth to the analysis.

I stopped recording all the title fights since the Featherweight season.
(But I'm off tomorrow. have lots of free time - so I might put up all the title fights)

These days, I only record:
Every time a Title changes hands (& what week it was)
Tile activities (such as if anyone is stripped or if The Champ doesn't defend his title)
The Prizefighter Results
The MDT Results
I keep an eye on who spends the most Weeks as Numer One Man
I keep an eye on who has the best overall record (numerically)

But I may go back to having recording all the title fights
(just for fun - seeing as The Heavyweights are my favourite division)

The thing about stats is it can be very long-winded... I try to keep analysis opinion-free and just deal with the numerical facts... As such, the breakdown on the fighters is brief but accurate.

Because Lewis has only had 1 World Title reign (WBC)... The requirement for the above top 10 is 2 title reigns (at least).

I see, why didn't you just trim it down to "all titlists with the initials J.L. ?

Records have been updated. And Larry Holmes has been added to the above list due to his second World Title triumph.

Notable changes are:
Rocky Marciano adds another WBC crown to his tally.
Joe Louis wins another WBO Title.
Joe Jeanette wins his first WBA Title.
Larry Holmes wins his first IBF Title.
Max Schmeling goes on to regain the WBU crown.

And Ali, Louis, Holmes & Marciano each have lenthgy title reigns (3 defences or more) which would've qualified them for unification bouts.

I can't believe you are listing Louis's title defenses between weeks 28-30 as an achievement!
