Vassiliy Jirov takes on Kelvin Davis for the vacant IBF cruiserweight title on Don King's March 20 blockbuster show topped by Cory Spinks-Zab Judah.
"Jirov in the spring," said Johnny Nelson last week of his next opponent. Oh well, if you must lie, make the lie a big one.

It's shame isn't it, at one stage we looked to be going down that route when FW was promoting the shows with Hamed/Eubank/Calzghe e.t.c but it kind of fizzled out..

Apparently Don is also planning a big South African card in April as well, he is certainly pulling out all the stops lately.

'It don't need no Don!'
apparently now 'it' does, although i would prefer several nights of boxing spread out, rather than one behemoth card and then nothing for 8 weeks.
does anyone know why Don did that ridiculous advert for the bbc about football? what on earth compelled him? WHAT REASON DOES DON KING HAVE SHOWING UP ON A BBC ADVERT FOR FOOTBALL????!!

I was reading tonight that Atlantic City are trying to block King from promoting there, so expect the big March 20 bill to be in Vegas.

Don King has withdrawn from New Jersey boxing, he has withdrawn his license so that he doesn't have to answer questions in the ongoing investigation into the actions of former IBf president Robert Lee from what I understand.
