Always rated reid was a world class amateur and could reall punch got rushed in the pro's, any one know what reid is up to since he retired?

Also anyone know what former amateur world champion and 2000 olympian Michael Bennett is up to since he retired?

I re-watched his fight with Boudouani the other day, it was a good showing against a solid, if somewhat unspectacular champ.

Reid had that droopy eye problem that seemingly surgery couldn't fix so he was rushed along. Apparently in the Trinidadfight he suffered a detached retina and that [along with the droopy lid?] is what caused him to retire.

Absolutely no idea how his life panned out after that, or Boudouani, for that matter.

...the main thing i remember from reid's fights were the dumb opponents....who always went after the bad eye, which was going to close on its own instead of going after the good one. which. if they did would stop him because he wouldn't be able to see.
