Any defenders of British officials show your face.....

114-114???

This is happening too often..... at least one of them with the 119-110 scorecard actually watched the fight.

What a farce.

Think I gave Purdy 2 rounds but it was a clear fight for Lyno.

Ian John Lewis simply didn't seem to watch the fight. This is the same guy who let Briggs go 12 rounds against Vitali and scored Ainscough v Reed round 3 10-10. The poor bloke really needs to be told to go away.

I had Purdy knocking him out, that was more like the Lynes that we saw around the time of the Branco robbery.

I seem to moan about the judges every week, but ffs :witzend:

How far does it have to go before something is done?

Imagine the outcry if someone had scored Calzaghe vs Lacy 115-113 to Calzaghe.... this fight wasn't all that far off a Lacy'ing if we are being honest.

Lynes threw more every round and probably landed more every round, and scored a knockdown - which he needed according to IJL.

If Stevie Wonder ever gets bored of singing there's always a job scoring fights it seems.

This is an interesting point, I forgot all about the Knockdown, had it not been for that apparently we would have been looking at a Split Decision victory for lynes. I cannot express how utterly disgusted I am at that scorecard, but what happens? There's no repercussions for judge involved, and I'll still be watching next week. Sickening.

Whoever is the promoter's lad, he will, invariably, get the nod.

And they don't care how ridiculus It looks. People will forget it and it will happen again.

Exactly - don't agree with the thread title though IJL was clearly way off.

I did have it a lot closer than other people 116-111 to Lynes but can't excuse IJL scorecard at all, if there was no knockdown he scored that fight to Purdy
