Duno. I think ch5 boxing has been created as a platform for Primetime. I'm sure Fury will be tested on there a some point in the future (hopefully it flops and he goes back onto 5 or moves onto Sky)

I don't understand Primetime, did they ever ask permission to sub-let Skys own boxoffice service?

Not so sure Sky did it to make up with GB but more a case of team Khan and GBP realising that next to one is going to pay for that pisspoor excuse of a channel. Did they ever release the Khan - Judah numbers?

So they had the option, but chose the less costly version. Does this meen that Sky aren't prepared to collect payment for channels or that they never asked?

Would it monopolystic for them to do this?

Or would they be taking responsiblity for the channel?

As sky already have details it would seem logical

If not, am I being cynical or could it be that Sky can only afford to have Khan since FW and his fighters have left for allegedly? If FW had stayed then would there be enough money to cover Khan's pay too?

I think you are right with the funds being freed up - in saying that I would rather watch Khan's next 3 fights than ANY of Allegedly's stable.

Hopefully they don't make the same mistake next year, though I doubt it.

These days an Olympic gold medallist is no better a bet to become a top professional than a former Asda till boy who started boxing for a laugh, the ams have changed that much, and not for the better.

I don't think Sky were bankrolling them mate.

That's up to the promoter. Sky will pay the promoter an agreed fee...and it wouldn't be anywhere near enough (I suspect) to cover big money agreements for novices.

It's the promoter's responsibility to pay the fighters, not Sky's. The current Sky deal sees all the promoters paid the same, believed to be c 100k, per show. This was FW's gripe, that he could not afford to pay star fighters out of that kind of money, hence the Mag 7 type PPVs.
