Difficult to assess because of the human punch bag - but his balance, hand speed and shot selection look very good- lovely jab too.

Hard to tell too much there, but he seemed to move around the ring well and had decent shot selection. Good luck to him, I'm certainly keen to watch him again. Credit to C5 too, nice hype filled build up, good to sell it to the average punter.

and again.....toot toot

I'll wait for a bit. I imagine a lot of prospects would look good against an 8-15 punching bag who had been knocked out 6 times.

He had 6 KO's out of those 8 wins. Not sure 'Allegedly would match his fighters with someone who could punch. on their debuts. He rarely does that when they win World Titles

Chris Jnr looked good and with Booth, Froch, Groves all rating him and winning the Golden Gloves, shows the kid has some ability. I'm in. Was a massive fan of his Dad (still am), so I hope the kid does well.

It was his debut, and I'd say he did ok. He needs to know when to attack, as he was a bit predictable. Long way ahead of him though.

Chris has cold, dead eyes like a shark - a very scary proposition to face in the ring I imagine. Glad I saw his debut live and looking forward to seeing him progress.

he got stick early on in his am career as did shane mguigan as both started at senior level which aint no easy playing ground when people have 5 years expieriance on you.

snr sent his boy vegas under the tutorage of the great mike mcallum & when he came back he was special.if matthew hatton can fight for a world title this kid can become one dependant of whats about etc. the middleweight division is at an alltime low right now with weaker opposition claiming titles.

I'm in. I love the way his name is going to get him instant recognition, but I was actually really impressed.

I love the way he has his dad's arrogance and he even speaks like him too. Look forward to seeing much more of him.

Very unusual for me to board a train this early on its journey, always try and get on a bit later but hell yeah I'm on, bottom line for me is if the kid has
a chin and if the stories I have heard x 3 from sparring are true I see no reasons why this kid is not in the British title mix in two years.

As long as his hands stay sound and the chin is sound, the natural ability is clearly there.

Sounds just like his dad and has some of his moves, useful addition.

Chris Sr's are big boots to fill, but Junior seems to have his head screwed on & knows what to expect.

He's also being correctly managed by putting him on terrestrial TV too.

It might cost him a bit financially, but if he is half as good as his father, he will become a household name & a big star in a few years.

Just like going back in time 20 years. The ring enterance msic and the top rope jump. I thought it was a good performance and seems to have a solid jab. Shame Nigel Benn hasnt got a son who is boxing too.

The only bad thing is why not give a BRITISH pro the money? Why bring in a foreigner when we have loads of boxers who could have got the pay day. I do not understand this? Im sure there are lads fighting in this country who could do with the nights pay. Stop feeding foreigners when we have fighters in the UK.

:DD

I'll shovel the coal. The gold shorts, Simply The Best, and the vault over the top rope caused me to get a semi on.

Exactly my thoughts!!

You compare that pro debut to any of "our olympians" and it blows them all out the water
