With thanks to Dempsey for sparking the idea for this one, I think this would be a sensation. Chavez's work-rate, precision & body-punching against Marquez's timing, handspeed & superb defensive instincts.

My verdict is Chavez finishes strong for a 7-5, 7-5, 6-6 MD.

Marquez by tight decision, those counters would lower Chavez output and back him off a bit. I don't think he can out-box Marquez.

I dont know about that. Marquez would be my underdog, but not by all that much.

I don't like Chavez, but if you think a guy who went life and death with Rocky Lockridge and Juan Laporte is a cinch over Marquez than you're the one with the bias.
