Hatton show on the 26th

I know Nigel and the other guys come on here, can someone clear this bill up for me.
Rumours that Matthew may be fighting El massoudi but nothing seems to have come of it, is it now Munroe/Cermano and Male/Murray or is there a twist
we have enough promoters not telling punters about the breakdown of bills I have always appreciated the Hatton crew coming on and giving some answers
Could you update guys please, got some friends who are thinking of coming to boxing for the first time who live down that way so really don't want to put them
away, if the above two fights are top and chief then good enough but any advance on the Magic situation.
Thanks

There was a mention of Hatton vs El Massoudi on Ringside (in Ed's segment, but with not specific date). It is down as Hatton vs El Massoudi on Sky Sports Website.

Thats whats confusing me Stu, you know what its like we get so used to fights being on and off and never on etc just want to advise these people on the bill and not
sound clueless when they get there and no Hatton etc.
Hoping one of the Hatton crew come on and are allowed to tell us.

Negotiations with El Massoudi are ongoing, I was reliably informed last night.

It's a bit awkward really because Dave Coldwell's bill the same night is superior, top to bottom.
I don't think Hatton fight wll happen until December.

Sky must be chuffed - that's two shows in a row called off (Price vs McDermott being the first), so no boxing on a Saturday night on Sky for two weeks. Not good, especially in the face of the first serious competition they've had for domestic boxing in years.

Better to call them off than show a poor show like allegedly have done the last few Fridays! In old days they accept nag old replacement to keep the bill on perhaps there some quality control at last.

how many shows has munroe topped british european champ and wba interrim champ defending his title and 2 undeafted fighters going for english featherweight title. bronze medal olympian hattons next star joe murray. they had only got to put a undercard together and had plenty of time. the dates were set months ago. my cuz wud hav had a 12 week training camp for his fight with murray and spoiled the hatton show with a great victory. hope they sort a new date out soon. team male!!!!

I know what you mean about the quality of shows. However, two cancelled shows in a row won't sit well with the bosses at Sky surely.

Spare a thought for Rendall Munroe as well. He moved out his house in Leicester over two months ago to live in a caravan outside the Shinfields gym in Derbyshire to prepare for his 12-rounder. Firstly, he was told he'd be boxing on November 12 in Oldham, then it was the 26th and now he's not going to be boxing at all. Gutted for him.

Very good point Tom, we all look forward to something and then get disappointed the bill is not on, sometimes we are guilty of not really appreciating what the guys go through
to get themselves ready for there fights and not only the fight but there payday's go west when its called off.

Rendall's not on the bins anymore either, so it'll be a huge knock to his finances.

Obviously Hatton could not get a fight sky would approve.

Munroe was down to fight Nehomar Cermeno, who may have lost his last couple but does hold two wins over former pound-for-pound top tenner Cristian Mijares. If Sky did knock that back then that's odd.
