I've seen Maxwell a few times and he'd be a good test. I wonder why Latvians and Lithuanians always get the job. Are they much cheaper or something? What's wrong with British lads? Try to hard, don't fold soon enough? I'd love to know. Maybe Frank Maloney could shed some light as he always uses East Europeans.

from that list maxwell is the stand out , 11 knockouts on his record show that he can punch...maybe that fight would be 3=5 fights too soon???...stuck him on the list anyway

From my three years spent in Huddersfield from 2008 till July, I saw Warren spar and fight on a couple of occasions. He's decent, solid, in good hands with Chris Aston and carries a fair whack. But I think he's more a light-middle than a full-blown middle.

Reed and Maxwell are middleweights who can dig but, especially in Maxwell's case, are fragile.

he wont go anywhere near fighters with those sort of records for at least 6 more fights .

No matchmaker in the land will put a one fight novice in with anyone on that list.

Ryan Clark is a realistic shout.

He's a young prospect who needs development fights. Look at who the likes of Ryan Aston has fought so far (Iain Jackson and Dean Walker) and you're probably nearer the mark.

He may have the beating of those mentioned at the top of the thread but with his dad's name to milk money off who would realistically take the risk?

Eubank isn't going to be risked with anyone moderate for at least 6 more fights, so I expect John Ingle to be scouring abroad for "suitable" opponents.
From what I saw technically ok - but a distinct lack of power.
We need to see what he's like taking a shot as well.
Maxwell is way way too risky.
I hate the way the kid is being marketed.
He has no identity of his own - and it remains to be seen if he will be anything approaching as good as his old fella.

Let's give the lad a chance he's had ONE fight......if not for his surname we wouldn't be having this debate

And Maxwell is a decent test for anyone - gave Doran hell for a round before the stoppage, which was controversial. He's a decent pro.

rocky fielding had only had 3 fights before ko'ing maxwell.....maxwell has been ko'ed in 3 of his last 4 fights but is now s/middle or above

He has only had one fight against a journeyman, lets not go overboard, he is just a novice

Think there is a confusion as to which Maxwell we are talking about. Doubt anyone would put him in with MAX Maxwell!!!
