I hope so too mate, should be an interesting one, Pitt knocks Oganov out if he tries to box him, he should stick to an inside smothering style, still i doubt it would matter, Pitt wins easy.

Pitt looks the business. He should beat Oganov with ease.

I reckon Pitt will win the fight if he doesn't get caught but im going 4 Victor he always has that one punch knock out power, and i believe its a now or never for him so i hope he resurrects his carer with a good win over high prospect Pitt..

Victor is a one pace, slow walk up style backed with a heavy punches, that beat up plenty of opponents early in his career. But today Brad has far too much class and speed for Victor and one cannot see Victor getting past 5 rounds.

agree with beltane, only thing that will save victor is a lucky punch,(pitt can be knocked out)

And this guy is the big aussie hope? With some better refereeing he'd have been k.o'ed in the 3rd.

I agree mate. Pitt looked exhausted. Did he struggle to make weight ? The ref assisting him back under the rope was BS. Also can someone tell me whether a corner can attend to their fighter during a five minute break ? The commentators said it was in the rules, I didnt think so. Hudosn was calling the shots and the ref was just reacting to him...well done Lincoln, it orked. Either way, well done Vic. I am great fan of Pitts and had this going 3 or less. hopefully this will be one of many learning curves for Brad on the way to a world title.

i think pitt was hurt on his feet, then got pushed down and under the ropes so whats the rule there?showed a lot coming back to win it.

Yes & No. Depending on title governing body. In this case you got OPBF & IBO regional bodies, so there's a possibility of rule conflict. Vic Control should've had this sorted out @ weigh-in. Generally speaking, title governing bodies can't overrule State legislation & its rules & regulations relating to safety issues.

Poor Oganov i feel sorry for him he had Pitt out on his feet in the first round, and in the 3rd he would have knocked pitt out cold, but the referee was fuked up full stop... Bad job all night long by the ref letting pitt push vic away and lean all over him every time he was hurt.. Mate he is veryyy overated as oganov is on the downhill and is a blown up supper middle weight, and had him out on his feet.. Lucky to get ur 5 minutes pitt u whimpppp.. unlucky victor u russian tank

didnt see the fight mate and therefore cannot fully understand your angst but calling someone a wimp is not great from. Sounds like was some underhanded/dodgey officiating which is sad. No point. also as the trend tends to lend itself to someone being shown up big time as his career progresses. Just my opinion but anyone who has the bollocks to get in a ring aint no wimp. Oganov has massive power even if he was fighting above his better weight. No doubt a concern with regards to Brads conditioning/chin. And seemingly a bad taste left in the mouth of a true boxing fan. But..... Dudes put their life on the line everytine they get in the ring. Wimps ...no. But i can appreciate may be and indicator that Brad wont get too far in the big league. Sadly!!!!!!

Well done to both fighters, thought it was fight of the night.
Pitt done well to come back, no one has ever knocked Vic out and his chin is solid, all of his loss's bar 1 have been stopped by the ref and this being the first time he stopped the fight.
I actually thought Oganov looks good as a Cruiser, he wasn't fat and his power looked like it was back.
I thought the knockdown was not a knockdown, however i thought Oganov landed some bombs cleanly and did have the fatigued Pitt wobbled a couple of times, but Oganov is sloppy and at times dirty and personally thought the 5 minutes was warranted.
Pitt has some pretty solid wins under his belt and is only 12 fights into his career, how about a chance for the bloke to wet his feet before being written off, so far he travelled to the states and beat a very decent spoiler in Harris and demolished Ammann in 2 and has now had his biggest scare against a veteran and has delt with it with a beautiful display of combination punching.....not many cruisers can put it together in bunch's with lightning speed.

the ref single-handedly saved pitt from ending up on his ass. he could barely stand up.
still, it was a great effort by both guys.
i'm not sure there r any other fighters who could have taken the punishment oganov did and last that long. he must be a robot.
please can we have a REMATCH.
pitt would likely win, but it would a fight not to miss.

If u didn't watch the fight DON"T COMMENT u got no idea. secondly pitt was the one that was dirty not oganov he keept leaning on him holding oganov's head in a clinch pushing him away and putting his hand out in his face, but there was no warning. oganov hits him behind the head and pitt falls to the ground his nickname 'Hollywood" is a great coz he is a actor not a true fighter/warrior. acting as if hes so hurt and sitting down in the corner taking 5 minutes to recover from a lil tap in the head com on with his trainer screaming @ the ref and calling the shots, this would neva happen any were else but aus. one word to some it all up JOKE!

No I'm not a ref, just a boxing fan watching a boxing match. If Pitt was in that much trouble from a push he might aswell retire now, his legs were totally gone, the ref in the ring acted like Pitt's cornerman - that really was a helping hand.
