So, what was it like as a venue? Worth going to show's there in the future? It looked a bit small to me - although I guess that's no bad thing, if you want a big stadium atmosphere you've got the MEN (and Edgely Park

)
And what was this issues I saw on TV with Fury's family / supporters at ringside - there looked to be a bloke in an open white shirt who got quite animated!

Its good and its bad.
Its a large new warehouse that they couldnt let out but some clever clogs spotted that the "user clause" allowed for entertainment purposes so they have turned their hand to that.
Good - easy to get to via private transport, good parking for free, large venue with plenty of room to spread out in between fights.
Bad - floor seating only. Maybe they need to think about wheeling in temporary stands because it just leads to everyone standing up.
The "ringside uproar" must have looked a lot worse on TV because all it was was three guys, one in particular, that rushed to the ring apron after the knock down and were animated but their was no trouble and Tyson's brother, Shane (the lad in the open white shirt), sorted it out.

Also, quite why they needed lap dancers in the ring at every opportunity baffled me!

The Mrs was sat down watching it with me and even she said they just looked like spare parts! They defo looked better from a distance. The one had a face that would scare a police horse.
That WAS a police horse!

maybe you had a closer view but from where i was sitting the 2 blondes looked nice but not so much keen on the other 2 .
Anyway , didnt like the venue , mainly due to the floor seating , was times when we had to stand on our seats to see , but then obviously people behind us would have to do the same , but was a case of not even being able to see the screens let alone the ring without doing so , the bar area was all nice and open spaced unlike some venues , such as nottingham arena which feels like its going to lead to a hillsborough type disaster , rediculously cramped there.
I read somewhere that event city holds 10,000 people , i cant imagine that .
Overall score 6 out of 10

I don't think it is really suited to boxing, due to the floor level seating, because you have to stand up to see the action.
You're knackered if the guys in front of you are tall!!!
Plus points are that it's got great transport links; just off the M60 for drivers; express bus service from the city centre & free parking in the Trafford Centre.
