Anyone know if this is legit? there was an advert in last weeks boxing news. So checked the website and it says he's coming over on the 27th November and tickets are only £10.00. It says he's there to open the gym, and he'll be signing autographs as well as given a Q&A session and photo opps, plus its states he will spar with a selected few. Im more than a bit sceptical, as he's fighting on the 10th.

seems a bit dubious to me but there it is.

Suppose its only a tenner if not anyway, if he doesnt show i might just train then drive home,

Len Woodhall told me he's coming over in February now.

Roy Jones is quite a common British name- perhaps they meant a different roy jones.

I knw but it was only in last weeks bn, surely they'd have known if he wasnt comin, sounds like a ploy to get attention on the gym tbh

My gym is near Blackburn, (clitheroe)
I had Roy jones at my gym last year and just let people come and meet him for free. His agent hasn't said anything about him coming in at that time. And I've not herd of the gym to be honest

Seeing how far downhill he's gone, he's probably chief support to the main event at Blackburn Town Hall.

I think Roy Cropper would give a better spar nowadays.
