Charity Challenge Ideas...........

Hi,
Have any of you completed or heard of any interesting or different charity challenges?
I am looking to do a few events this summer and would be interested in any ideas.
In the past i have done cycling challenges, running events, triathlon events, hillwalking events. I would consider doing any of these events again if something different or with an interesting twist was suggested.
I might be doing a 120 mile cycle in ireland this summer but want at least another 2 events (within reason) and then you can all sponsor me.
Cheers

Do a sparathaon where between a few of you , you aim to do a minimum of say 100 rounds, could be a good charity earner, as you can sponsorship and charge entry fees to watch aswell

Charity boxing match.
Where are you based? I'm sure there's a kind hearted pro that will do a couple of rounds for charity.

Waxing could be a good idea. I remember a couple of years ago two guys who worked in the local newsagent here in Woodbridge got waxed for charity and raised a few quid for it.

You'd be doing far more good if you went out into your local community and actually helped people directly, or did something practical/beneficial in your area, rather than begging people to give you a few quid to dress up like a twat and run about for a couple of hours.
Well mate i have my charitys and i have my reasons but i dont want this post to turn in to an oxfam appeal. If theres one thing i cant stand its people begging for money, the way i do it is simple. Decide an event or events, ask others to participate. Make a page on just giving, get a few friends to post a couple of facebook posts etc linking the donation page.
Anyone with any interest in the charity tends to donate, anyone with no interest in charity or no interest in my particular chosen charity swerves it and theres no pressure or sheets being thrown in their faces.
Ive seen first hand people be supported by charitys which are supported 100% on donations, if i raise 300 quid and get an event to aim towards then im happy!
My aim isnt to scrape people last tenner out of their pocket and im certainly not one for running marathons dressed as a penguin or anything like that. Lol.
Firstly my main aim is to find an event which is challenging, requires preperation, training and effort and if i can get others involved and make a couple of quid on top of it for charity then im happy.
