When durable fighters get knocked out or stopped early

Trying to think of examples of when normally durable fighters get knocked out or stopped early.
To start it off I was thinking Frazier vs Foreman, Duran vs Hearns and Michael Nunn vs Sumbu Kalambay.
Nunns win was even more impressive considering he wasn't known for being a huge puncher and Kalambay had never been stopped (before or after) and was flattened with one punch.

Sugar Ray Leonard -v- Hector Camacho, if you call the 5th early.
SRL had never been KOd & although he was as old as the Earth & rusty to boot, it still shocked me to see him splattered by the feather fisted Camacho.

It shouldnt count if guys were way outside their prime, such as Leonard against Camacho (washed up), or Young with Shavers (rookie).

Best of these for me is Valdez-Briscoe

Amazing and unappreciated win, but it wasn't exactly early.
Hearns/Cuevas
Holyfield/Qawi

Witherspoon v Bonecrusher seems like an obvious example.

Yeah, round 2, I think. LaPorte was a tremendous banger. I think McGuigan said that he was the hardest hitter he had ever faced and it felt like it his head was coming off his shoulders.

yeah, i can't remember the exact quote but laporte rocked him with a right hand in around the 4th(?) round and Barry said it took 3-4 rounds before he shook the effects off

Oh. For some reason I was thinking Ward was stopped in the third against Judah.

hahaha perfect one for the thread. but u gotta wonder if ruiz was really that durable or if his style was just let happen too much (his constant clinching) by the referees.
true, but apart from the clinching and hugging, his defence/reflexes and chin taken alltogether weren't that bad, so i'd say him getting blown out early would still be a good example

I think it caught everyone by surprise, not least the ref...those last few punches were on a par with Mercer/Morrison.

Benn vs Barkley is a good shout, but had The Blade been softened up a little by Hearns, despite winning?
I mean... for 99% of that fight he was taking a hiding.
