Adam Booth has played down reports that Haye is back in training for a fight with a Klitschko.

I guess the retirement most suspected was only temporary is moving closer to being ended, no smoke without fire and all that.

I did previously think Haye had more chance of beating Vitali prior to him facing Wlad, but after seeing the handspeed displayed by big bro against Adamek im not so sure.

There is still a massive sense of intrigue in this fight, and it would be a shame for it not to happen.... what happens if Haye gets the W though???

then we all believe his Big toe was to blame and he sets up fight with Wlad and decapates him

It would be wiser for Haye to choose to fight the very beatable Povetkin for the WBA paper title.

Regardless of the merits of the fight, surely there is no potential Heavyweight fight that will make more money than Vitali v Haye. Boxing has long ceased to be a meritocracy and while Povetkin remains a viable contender for Haye or either Klit, competitively speaking, he simply doesn't have the money spinning potential that Haye brings.

Oh I don't know, he bounced back from that devastating toe injury fairly quickly.

Vitali gives Haye a good pasting for the fans and Haye gets a few extra million in the bank. Sounds like a win-win situation. Bet it ends up on Primetime as well.

Why oh why are the Klitschko's talking with the wee toe.

Vitali will look just as bad as the toe if they do a deal with him!

As of today, Vitali vs. Haye is on for March, probably March 3. There will be an announcement in early December.
