I thought Power Snooker was wholly independent of the WPBSA but fully endorsed by it. Ie, there's no ranking points at stake, but the top players are freed up to play the events. I can't imagine that Hearn and Warren are financially committed to the same venture.

Power Snooker another gimmick, was on itv 4 the other day did not see it was it any good?

I caught them playing on a weird looking table with 'targets' on it very briefly. No idea what the rules are. Still have trouble figuring out the rules for nine-ball, but i like playing it.
