why not get him against colin kenna?

We have to box someone who has not got a losing record. Larry Olubamiwo was the intended opponent but evryone knows what happened and we had to get a replacement quickly.

I know it was last minute etc but this guy's a cruiserweight with a 4-4 record and Ali seems to be top of the bill, judging by the posters.

The level of the rival... Gone the distance with italian Matteo MOdugno.

With his trainer not being there on the night this is exactly the type of opponent he was going to get.

For this fight ali had to box someone who did not have a losing record. There was the possibility of Ali boxing abroad for a big title but Robert Smith wanted Ali to box over 10 rounds against someone who was not a journeyman.

We want Tom Dallas in March if possible if something bigger does not come along.

imo Thats a fight I wouldn't want for Ali.. I think its Great these names has been put forward but that's all they have been is put forward.....

Its not names just being put forward. Larry and Matt Skelton were both offered the fight for decent money and Tom Dallas and others will also.

We can do no more than offer the fights to these NAMES! As you will appreciate we cannot force them to accept.

Ali's team will not wait for over 5 weeks as we did for the December fight for someone to sign. We need to seal the deal earlier to get a bigger name.

2 My bro was offered to fight ali dec 2010 after prizefighter my bro accepted then week and half b4 he pulled injuired but then all of a sudden he was bk on the card again.
Also compared to lan lewison he is smaller. am mates with tyrone wright who got a drew and he is a blown up super middleweight
