According to the Sydney Morning Herald's website he was on life support in Wollongong Hospital at 2.41pm today.

According to Fox Sport News he is in a critical condition after a suspected drug overdose.

Perth is a long way from Wollongong. According to a spokesman from Wollongong Hospital since this mob wrote he is still on life support.

Really sad to hear ....

Just heard his wife posted on his Facebook page, he's alive and will know more by tommorow.

In got a phone call at ten past three today from a good mate of Shannon's, he had just got off the phone from Brad Gallagher, he rang to tell me of Shannon's death.

I just heard he is still on life support and in a better condition than this morning, hope he gets through this, keep fighting mate!

According to promoter Jamie Myer on 5.30pm Gold Coast 9 news, Shannan is still in serious condition, but not critical. And there's a 50/50 chance he'll pull through. He also pleaded people ignore current media reports.
Interesting to note, Ray Wheatley's spread in Fightnews had been ditched

I hope that Jamie Myer is correct, it is confusing. I guess tomorrow we'll all know more, until then one can only hope for the best.

Jamie & Shannan have been close for many years. If anyone knows, Jamie would.

Taylor’s father Steve confirmed his son opened his eyes this afternoon shortly after he visited him for the first time.
“I ended up going in and we talked to him,” he said.“I told him I need help with the kids he’s training.”

Taylor is still on life support but the improvement has stunned some, with doctors at one stage considering turning off his life support machine this morning.

“But he has opened his eyes and squeezed a hand,” Mr Taylor said
