I know this should technically be on the Current Scene board but I prefer discussing items on this one so I've stuck it here. Looks like the big fight may finally be on! I fancy Mayweather to win this fairly easily and have done for a long time. Would be awesome to finally see it happen though!

Im actually not as excited about this as i would have been a year ago

dont get me wrong once its on and the hype starts ill be excited again

really fancied Pacquio but after the last ones think alot more will favour Mayweather now than ever.

that says Mayweather didnt really have to do much in his alst fight , all pot shots that landed , Pac will work him harder

I have always thought Mayweather would pick off, pot shot and counter Pacquaio all night long, but after Pacquaio's performances against Mosley and Marquez III, i think Floyd will have a field day. Like the other posters have said, i think this fight has now lost it's edge and people are more annoyed about it than excited.
