Just turned over from Finland and Karl Place-Steve Williams is on. Nice little scrap. Anybody watching this show?

Not seen much of Place before now. He's very slow to get his hands back up after throwing.

Place was really out of his depth there. Williams was far too strong for him. TKO2

What time these two on. I there going to be a clash with the Fin card?

Main difference between these guys IMO was the hunger of Williams. He really wanted it so much more. Place was caught in the storm.

Just caught the replay there. Williams landed a lovely left hook on Place's jaw which made him sway and I think only the ropes held him up.

I was shocked at how open Place was. He threw a swing and took an age getting his hands back up again. Fair play to Williams, he's blasted his way back into title contention.

Great performance by Williams, very good punch picking and really heavy handed. Place looked out of depth to be honest and couldn't seem to deal with a man coming straight at him and taking his punches and coming back. Looking forward to the main event

Rose connected with a few lovely overhand and straight right hands and outjabbed the bigger man in the first 90 seconds. Arron came into it in the last minute.

Remember seeing Arron fight Duddy in Dublin back in 2007 (I think) and he has really filled out into a man since then. Rose has won the first two here though I would say.

Arron starting to establish the jab a bit more but not landing enough. Rose showing some lovely counter-punching ability.

Rose's is boxing brilliant, countering beautifully but remaining the ring general and dictating the pace. 2-0

Arron won the first half but Rose looked better winning the second half of the round. More power punches landed.

Closest round so far. Arron had a bit more success with the jab and a few nice uppercuts. Just nicked it for me.

Rose fighting just like them feckers that keep beating me on Fight Night Champion! He has won every round so far.

What was the general feeling before this fight? I would have expected Aarron to be the favourite but I liked the noise coming from the Rose camp.
