Chesterfield heavyweight Mark Krence meets Lithuania's useful Mendauga Kulikauskas next Friday on the Clinton Woods-Glencoffe Johnson bill in Sheffield.
Kulikauskas stopped Finland's Sami Elovaara (cuts in Finland) - the man who took Audley Harrison's next opponent Richel Hersisia the full 12 rounds last year.
The Lithunanian also drew with Scott Gammer and floored Roman Greenberg.
Krence hasn't fought since being convicted of assaulting his former partner last year.

Good to see Krence back.

Let's hope beating up his girlfriend was a one off, everone deserves a second chance.

I heard 'The Pink Pounder' got in trouble for a similar public order offence, he got in trouble for beating off his former partner in a public toilet.

Why is it "good to see Krence back"? The guy is an extremely limited boxer who beats up women.

On the contrary it would be "good to see Krence run over by a truck".

Characters like this are welcomed in boxing by fans of the sport, yet we have threads debating why the sport isn't popular with many people and why the BBC give it such limited coverage. Unfortunately it attracts people like Krence....

My post was sarcastic and building up to the joke at the end that you either missed or simply didn't find funny. Apologies.

If his missus is like the majority of birds I know  , she deserves a good thrashing.

Its a shame when people can't leave their work in the workplace.

Well leaving aside the female fisting for one moment i think this is a good fight for Krence and i expect him to win but that is not certain. Kulikauskas is a useful fighter who has fought some decent opposition like Elovaara, Gammar and Greenberg but has lost to Danny Watts and John McDermott. Krence since losing to Audley has amassed a run of seven wins including beating the usual suspects like Tony Booth, Derek McCafferty and Paul Bonson and has stopped Petr Horacek and Luke Simpkin as well. This form should carry him through.
