Did anyone buy todays issue?

The paper was spolied and hadly had any coverage on the sprott - williams fight and undercard

Once again the boxing news team got seats behind a pole

They didnt put the fight on the front cover only the gatti match and the middleweight wookie fight tonight

This is unfair on readers and the boxers themself

Sort it out now

I remember allegedly's quote years ago concerning the boxing press: "You give them the best seat in the house," he said, "and they slag off your fighter!"
But Boxing News has never been anti-Warren, or anti-anyone. It's the most neutral - most thorough - British boxing publication out there (Boxing Monthly concentrates far more on the American scene). The part-time hacks who slag off Warren's fighters still get the best seat in the house; Boxing News tells it how it is impartially, and gets stuck behind a pole.

I saw where the BN guys were put and it was embarrassing.

They couldn't see sweet FA. I should know, because I was sat behind them. (Note to SN: I'm not complaining, as my seat behind them was a better view and writing for a local newspaper (even though it won the weekly newspaper of the year award last year) I don't expect a top-notch seat and am thankful for getting one at all, honest :) )

Looks like Frank has been feeling a little sensitive lately and has been getting on the case of Boxing Monthly editor Glyn Leach. Last month in his column Leach criticised the fact that Lawrence Murphy was fighting for a "World" title against Elcock while still a novice. In this months edition there is a small denote in his column saying he never considered Sports Network to be reckless and apologised if he gave the wrong impression etc He then goes on to say he repects Frank and that he is the best promoter and knows him well on a personal level blah blah So i think the Sports Network PR wagon rolled into BM offices after his first piece...At this rate Frank will have no friends left in Boxing.
