Winner of Solomon V Adama.
Yes the winner will be his mandatory but he is scheduled to fight on the 29th of February and if Solomon wins I can't see him fighting 3 times in 4 months

I think Adama is the rightful number 1 contender atm in the rankings, 2 is still vacant with Martinez coming in at 3.

His mandatory is on that date, so no surprises i guess with Adama filling that spot.

Geale v Adama would have absolutely no interest in the states, and Shaw being a smart business man can see the dollar in Tasmainia going a lot further than the US for this fight.

Soliman will have to still wait imo, and in a way i'm greatful, even though the bloke deserves at least 1 more shot for his contribution to the sport.
But if Geales team are smart, get as many international names as possible on the resume before taking the show to the states.

No one would put in a good performance if they were to fight before this date, so lets just see the Adama fight and move on.

Even though Grange cards are always solid, i want to see them take a leaf from GMP and stack the card with great matchups.

No Pitman vs 11-4-2, No Meehan vs up and coming Australian fighter with 10-4-3, real meaningful fights that count, it keeps people coming back for more.

I'm with you Thunder, but in all honesty i couldn't see it happen this soon, there will be at least 1 more fight and will have to be his mandatory.

Pirog is currently the WBO Champion, Martinez is WBC "Diamond" Champion, Chavez is WBC "regular" champion, Sturm is WBA "Super"Champion, Golovkin is WBA
"regular"Champion, N'Jikam is WBA "interim" champion.

If IBF Champion Geale fights any of these boxers there will be an inter organisation shitfight.

It will happen mate, it's just going to take time. Sturm is finished at the weight, NJikam is a bit suspect and blokes like Geale and Pirog will push to see who's the rightful owner to fight Martinez.

Golovkin actually has a win over Geale in the AM'.

I stopped watching Olympic boxing some years ago when I got the shits with the referee shouting "Stop!" every time somebody hit his opponent.

Geale leapfrogged Sturm in the Boxrec ratings. Seems Sturm put on a poor performance in his last fight against Murray.

From all reports it was Sturm who was robbed, apparently most over on current scene had it either 117-111 or 116-112 to sturm.

The times are a changing.

i think sturm is ripe for the picking, but he will never leave Germany so he'll hang on to that title for a little while yet
