Does anyone really care................

Short analysis of the fight !!

Klitschko jabs and weighs up, Mormeck throws one jab, Klitschko throws a right and Mormeck staggers, green light to Klitschko that he is safe, ups work rate, stoppage in round three.............

AND STILL the most boring heavyweight champion of the world WLADIMIR "DR STEEL HAMMER" KLITSCHKO

Next bum or midget please !!!!

Exactly...i'm still pissed with Haye not for his performance or his broken toe but making us have to endure more of Wlad Klitschko.

This'll mean Wlads only had 4 fights in the last 3 years which is pathetic especially compared to his older brothers 7 fights in the same period.

Wlads body is breaking down and he's ready to go, unfortunately the current Heavyweight division is full of no hopers who lack the heart, desire and hunger to take that opportunity with the exception of Amir Mansour and a few others.

Wlads title run must be the worst in history in terms of the quality of boxers he's beaten and the way he's gone about beating them: David Haye, Samuel Peter, Eddie Chambers, Ruslan Chagaev, Hasim Rahman, Tony Thompson, Sultan Ibragimov, Lamon Brewster, Ray Austin, Calvin Brock and Chris Byrd.

that's not a bad run, some good names there but Wlad just makes them look very ordinary the way he shuts them down.

Personally I've not really got a problem with his style, it's good boxing, hit and not be hit.

If he was to stand & trade and get knocked out people would think he's a muppet for not using his jab.

It's not exactly exciting though is it, if he didn't have a dodgy chin I'd never watch him fight.

Klitschko's style comes out of the knock outs against the likes of sanders and Brewster. Those defeats have effectively altered his style, because he does have some talent, but he opts for safety behind the jab and it makes him look ordinary and pedestrian. A lot of those defences were against faded fighters (Rahman, Byrd) hype merchants (Thompson, Chambers)or the plain ordinary (Ibragimoc, Austin, Brock). Unfortunately there aren't any fighters out there to beat the Klitschko's, so they appear as supreme fighters who are invincible and whilst they are good fighters, it's the fact that the heavyweight division is completely dearth of quality and talent that is the real reason behind the Klitschko's long reign. Just simply a terrible and embaressing division at the moment and i for one couldn't care less about the Klitschko's and who they fight, because it's always a one sided bore against opposition that would struggle to gain employment as a bouncer at the local night club.

I don't think his body is breaking or that he is ready to go. He is coming off a fine performance against a live challenger. He looked as sharp against Haye as I have ever seen him.

Nobody out there can remotely trouble him. Helenius would get completely battered and Povetkin would get stopped.

Wlad can reign for another 3-4 years if he chooses to. The best thing that can happen for his career is Haye coming back and beating Vitali, thus setting up a huge rematch.

I like Wlad too.

Take him and his big bro out the sport and you may as well close the heavyweight division.

Nothing coming through that can beat him. Father time will take his titles. Once he is done, it's a bleak immediate future.

Get out of it, without the Klits the Heavyweight Division would actually have some exciting match-ups at World title level. Just look at Helenius-Chisora and i could give you 10 more like that, once we're rid of the Klits the Heavyweight division will be entertaining again and thrive.

Lamon Brewsters short reign at Heavyweight had far more excitement and entertainment then Both Klits fights since 2007. I couldn't give a shit if their popular in Germany, the world heavyweight champion should be a star worldwide rather then leave people bored.

Leave off! Might produce the odd exciting punch up granted but I would rather have a dominant champ with plenty of ability as opposed to watching a bunch of mediocre-fairly decent fighters take turns in holding titles and diminishing the honour of being heavyweight champion.

Interesting you think the champ should be a world star yet you want the Klits gone! Who out there in the heavyweight division can you see transcending the sport and becoming a major star other than the two brothers?

Because Chisora and Helenius were fairly well matched and it was good to watch doesn't mean jack. Had that fight been for the undisputed heavyweight title it would have been slated for sheer lack of quality. Just writing that makes me shudder...Helenius v Chisora for Heavyweight Title! Once the Klits are gone I hope they turn the lights out as it is they that are keeping interest in that division alive.

I'm afraid I don't understand the supposed need for what the Heavyweight champion 'should' (or 'should not') be.

beating all other heavyweight contenders isn't enough, then?

Also, fights such as Chisora -Helenius can still take place. Doesn't need Wlad out of the picture.

The pretenders should fight each other in order to determine who deserves the chance to get knocked out by Wlad.

Its not the Klitschko's fault theres no one who can beat them,I always favoured Vitali over Wlad but i changed my mind&Wlad is the man&it will take a good man to beat either...Lennox Lewis is my favourite big man in my life time but im convinced he retired at the right time :TU:

Maybe for you the lights would be turned out but outside of Germany and Ukraine the majority is with me. I will admit that i really dislike Wlad Klitscko as a boxer and as a man considering some of the dirty tactics his team employs and i can't wait to see him knocked the fornicate out and gone from boxing for good, i don't mind his older brother though especially pre comeback although his removal would be great for the sport too.

As for who would be a star to replace them, hopefully in the next year or so one of Seth Mitchell, Amir Mansour(your favourite :)) or Deontay Wilder will replace them and they'd certainly revive the Heavyweight division in America and from a British point of view Fury, Chisora or Price....at this stage i don't give a feckers as long as it's soon.

It's a shame that Vitali can't just step in as a replacement for his younger brother.

I for one hope Mormeck doesn't get a shot. Gets a gift decision against Oquendo another really close dogfight with Ibragimov and then stays inactive for 12 months and gets the fight with Wlad. Pure garbage. As bad as the Heavyweight division is, he doesn't deserve to be in the top 15.

Watch out for Seth Mitchell on the Khan undercard. 29, undefeated, heavy handed and fights the aforementioned Ibragimov so it'll a good yardstick to see if he has much to offer the division.

Strange you would hate Wlad but that's your opinion chap.

I don't hate Mansour, I mentioned his conviction for drugs once, other than that I can take or leave him. On the heavyweight scene he has to actually do something first which seems highly unlikely considering his age and lack of willing.
Mitchell, Wilder, Fury, Chisora, even Price, if these guys are heavyweight champs at some point it will rank alongside the likes of Herbie Hide being called champ. No potential stars here I'm afraid, you know it too. You are letting your seemingly hatred for Wlad cloud your thinking.

Wlad and big bro are the best thing in heavyweight boxing right now. The biggest fight out there is a retired ex cruiser champ who has already lost to Wlad once, coming back and fighting big bro.
If the brothers do retire soon then Haye should certainly come back. He would probably clean up. None of the names we have mentioned would beat him.

Absolutely agree with this especially about Seth Mitchell who looks in great shape and is very exciting and entertaining to watch as well and as you said it's his big coming out party on HBO at the weekend. Ibragimov is no gimme as his Top 25 boxrec rating indicates so i'll be impressed if Mitchell can stop him and look good doing it and i'm sure HBO will then really build him up in 2012 to get a title shot by the end of the year or early 2013.

You see this is what pisses me off with you and other guys when you make statements like Amir is not 'willing' or someone like Seth Mitchell won't be a star..neither is based on any facts offered by you. I made career high paydays offers to various Top 15 ranked Heavyweights and they all bottled it because they're bums who don't want to take a risky fight hoping instead to sit on their asses hoping that Team Klitschko will come calling...well fornicate that as Amir is more then willing to fight any contender out there and prove he is the best contender. Just look at Chaucey Welliver who came out with all this big talk and then baulked when we made him the offer and chose to fight bum Gabe brown instead.

We offered to fight Tyson Fury at MSG on March 13th and Hennessy is too scared to put his boy in with Amir as he knows he'd get annihilated. Thankfully we're now in negotiations with Tomaz Adamek for March and have been approved by HBO as an opponent for the tv date so as long as Main Events don't bottle it(which i personally think they will) then that fight will go ahead and move Amir into the Ring Top 10.

I've told Amir about some of the abuse he gets on here, check out this interview from the 2min 30sec mark about that and fighting Adamek next.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txSJ1sAUgTY

The Klitschko team are renowned in boxing circles for being scumbags, don't take my word for it..go and hit up some of his past opponents on twitter or facebook and they'll tell you the truth!

As for Mitchell, if he makes a big impression on saturday then HBO and Goldenboy will really go big on him for 2012 and make him a star and having seen him quite a lot i think he's improving every fight and could be the real deal a year from now.

I had no idea you were involved with Mansour. If he is fighting Adamek next then I tip my hat and wholeheartedly retract the statement that he doesn't seem willing. That would show he is the complete opposite in fact!

Still no potential stars beyond the Klits though. Sorry but I just don't see it. Personality wise some of them names are interesting ( Fury and Chisora certainly ) but none of them have the quality needed to be bonafide stars.
