Hope Wright is ok, we all dislike fights being called off, but safety of the boxer is most important.

Think Maloney looking for a replacement.

That's bad news for Wright..... hopefully all is well for him.

Woodhouse would be a good replacement, though with him just coming off a win and probably enjoying a bit of downtime it might be a bit sudden.

Plus there's a perfect warm up fight for a British title fight already lined up for him against Lauri.

I would of loved to of stepped in but i entered the ring on saturday just under 11 stone so its too much weight to take off in that short time. Ive just won an eliminator so hopefully im next in for the title anyway

the show will go on and we hope to have a good replacement named sometime tomorrow just waiting on some getting back to us. Sorry for Nigel Wright as he has train real hard for this. But this is why fighters should all ways be in the gym thinks like this happen in this field boxing is a hard sport and dangers. There will be 2 title fight's on this bill.

I'm all for getting a late replacement as long as it is someone worthwhile. It's pointless throwing someone in who isn't up to it into the fight just for him to get a serious beating that can affect the rest of his career

I hope everything is alright with Wright - I actually thought he'd have beat Theophane

isnt Williams the poster above "The Champ" hes too heavy

would imagine a lightweight will step up , If woodhouse is close to weight he should go for it if he thinks hes ready

ah right, cheers.

should Ben be boxing for the British title? I completly understand that its a last minute thing, but Ben has fought just once in a year, and that was at lightweight. He's now going into a 12 rounder against a big Light welter.

I would say it should be a 8 or 10 rounder non-title.

Now i've said that, he'll probably win it

like i says above a lightweight would step up.

its hard to get a replacment that would be on the weight unless its someone over there normall weight divison

Ideally when there is title fight on a show then you could have a Decent fight scheduled at the same weight on the undercard so that one off them could get the chance to step up to the main event.

obviously this is is easier sounding than it might be to arrange as there would have to be some sort of standard and ranking.
