1 Kell Brook 447 25(17)-0-0
2 Colin Lynes 226 36(12)-9(4)-0
3 Matthew Hatton 225 42(16)-5(1)-2
4 Lee Purdy 190 16(9)-3-1
5 Denton Vassell 180 19(9)-0-0
6 John O'Donnell 173 24(11)-2(1)-0
7 Frankie Gavin 119 11(8)-0-0
8 Junior Witter 103 40(22)-5(1)-2
9 Craig Watson 97 20(8)-5(3)-0
10 Kevin McIntyre 88 30(9)-8(5)-0
11 Adil Anwar 85 13(7)-1-0
12 Curtis Woodhouse 65 16(11)-3-0
13 Gary McMillan 65 13(3)-3-1
14 Stephen Haughian 64 21(8)-2-1
15 Dale Miles 64 12(9)-0-0
16 Adnan Amar 53 25(7)-1(1)-0
17 Michael Lomax 45 17(2)-4(2)-1
18 Young Mutley 44 29(14)-6(3)-0
19 Mark Heffron 44 5(4)-0-0
20 Rick Godding 37 14(1)-0-0
21 Chris Johnson 37 14(8)-3(2)-0
22 Robert Lloyd Taylor 33 18(5)-7(2)-0
23 Glenn Foot 26 6(3)-0-0
24 Nathan Graham 26 12(5)-3(1)-0
25 James Flinn 25 10(2)-1(1)-1

Is it just me that finds these rankings all wrong. Robert Lloyd Taylor and Adnan Amar for me should be in top 10. Woodhouse doesn't even box at the weight and his only fight at welter was against frankie gavin, who has also not achieved much at the weight. All of Witter's best years were at light welter. I just think these rankings are all wrong. How would other people rank their top 10

isnt this the boxrec Rankings though and its based on points or something?

if so then Adnan Amar very rarely fights so how could he be up in the top ten

out of top ten my Bro Kev Mcintyre has only fought Brook and that was Few years ago

he would love a shot at anyone to get him back in British title contention

Only seems to get picked as voulountery and against up and comers for them to try leapfrog him.

Fighting on home show in Feb but next year really needs a shot at something,

Ideally Lynes picks him for defence @ some point :TU:

In 2011 - Frankie Gavin, Colin Lynes and Graig Watson etc Pulled out Against Adnan Amar (Confirmed By BBBoC)
the main reason why Adnan Amar as been very inactive, loads of people have pulled out and unwilling to fight him like matthew hatton

Adnan Amar just recently Called out Colin Lynes/Denton Vassell and Matthew Hatton…hope they accept the challenge

i thought Adnan Amar should be ranked at least in the top 10 as hes talented /better record and willing to fight the best fighters in his division, to bad those fighters have pulled out against him . very avoided fighter!!

Yes a few of them should be in lightWW like Frankie Gavin...don't know who hes ranked in the top 10 in the WW division

Gavins last few fights have been at Welterweight so i can see why hes ranked there
and he had some Welterweight belt didnt he

most pople think he should be down at LWW but if hes got belts and is only making 10st 7 then nothing can change till he proves he can make the weight.

rankings dont mean much anyway , promotors and the board do what they want these days and very rarely need to justify it

basically that sums up boxing as a sport / Buisness these days

Yh Gavin is a WW fighter now. A few of his fights were ment to be at LWW but he couldnt make weight so he fought at WW.
He beat curtis woodhouse whose a LWW fighter who fought at WW because Gavin couldnt make weight…..thats when Gavin won the WBO Inter-Continental WW title ...and alot of his earlier wins were at LWW....so dont think he should be ranked in the top 10 for that

no he certainly shouldnt be ranked above -

8 Junior Witter 103 40(22)-5(1)-2
9 Craig Watson 97 20(8)-5(3)-0
10 Kevin McIntyre 88 30(9)-8(5)-0

Kevin put his name forward to Powell and got blanked
if Kev had fought the same Gavin that Woodhouse fought then reckon Kev would have won

would have to win clear to get the decison though eh

like i say these are Boxrec Ranking and not the offical Board ones are they ?

I would put Frankie Gavin at 16 only because he beat micheal lomax and hes a WW fighter....would put him below Adnan Amar as he pulled out againsr Adnan. Gavin and warren didnt want him to face Amar cuz hes awkward and experienced, would have given Gavin a boxing lesson at WW
i thought Adnan would be ranked much higer then he is to be honest

I know Adnan and yes all of this is true. Even Mcintyre fight got called off. It was an eliminator. Eddie Hearn mentioned on twitter a while back of a UK contender like program sounding interesting. Well what better division to do one in. Only thing we can do is start another boxrec tweeting brigade all at eddie hearn and richard poxon demanding an Adnan title shot

Yeah i know mate . dont know how Dale Miles,Stephen Haughian and Gary McMillan are ranked higer than adnan looking at who they won and lost to. Yh good idea doubt eddie hearn will reply tho

Im sure Adil Anwar confirmed hes a LWW boxer and should be ranked at LWW. hes going to be fighting in prizefighter at LWW and chasing Theopane for the LWW British title, so he should be ranked at LWW not WW?

It said "ADNAN AMAR (HOLDER) v FRANKIE GAVIN Following the withdrawal of Frankie Gavin from the above contest, the Stewards will consider this division at a later date" - http://news.boxrec.com/news/2011/all-title-news-bbboc-0

Adnan Has Called out Lynes(British Title) Vassell (Commonwealth) and Matt Hatton

Im sure if you get past Horta, Adnan would love to have a fight against you for the WBO Inter-Continental WW Title

Thats good "if" your willing to fight....the fight will be made easier if you tell frank you want Adnan after Horta :)

x2. Adnan would be a real tough fight for Frankie, may even result in a loss due to his pro inexperience. Frank is keeping that until a couple of fights down the line so that Gavin is ready. But Adnan is quality
