would be interesting if both macklin and murray used their fights with sturm as a platform to fight on the same US card.
if murray impresses, who knows, maybe he gets a shot at the martinez v macklin winner.

I don´t understand...Macklin loses with Sturm, and he gets a chance with Martinez, barker loses Martinez and can get a chance with JC Jr, some british managers are doing his job very well. I supose a fighter can´t fight for a title coming from a lose....
For my point of view, Murray had the result that Macklin deserved with Sturm, for me, Murray lost the fight by 2 points, but like the result of macklin's fight was so awful...

Are we looking at Paddy's Day in MSG, New York? This would be a cracking fight on a potentially cracking card.

Why wouldn't he? Would be a great experience for which he would get well paid, surely?

Dont forget John Murray losing to Mitchell then getting a fight with Rios...really good work by British managers...

Reckless fighters with knockout power and plenty of boxing skill are generally dangerous opponents.

i had a quick look yesterday and you have to apply for a visa if you have a criminal record, then they decide, if you havent got one you can waive the request of a visa if you stayin less than 90 days when you get there signin a form declaring you have no convictions but if they find out you have a record you get refused entry, probably only check a few out of the hundreds going through. seems like a pain in the arse.
